I like to say that I take a documentary approach to your session, but with relaxed direction. The light in the location typically guides where I'll place you---then I'll provide some fun prompts and games to play, and sit back and capture the magic.
how do you pose and direct us?
If the weather forecast doesn't cooperate on the day of your session, no worries! We can either reschedule or explore indoor locations that will showcase your story. In my opinion, no place is better than home for family sessions!
what happens if it rains?
I love helping with styling once your session is booked! In general, focus on coordinating, not matching. Comfort is key, especially for kids! Most importantly, I provide guidance with the goal to have your photos feel like YOU, just elevated.
what should we wear?
I know firsthand how frustrating it can be when kids aren't feeling it! But, I've got tricks up my sleeve to help ease any tough behavior. My goal is for the experience to be fun for everyone, so 'll work with them in the best way possible while finding beauty in the moment.
what if the kids don't cooperate?
My portrait sessions are typically 90 minutes at your choice of location (travel fees may apply), and you'll get all of the digital images for download in an online gallery. Prints, albums, USBs, etc. are purchased separately.
what's included with your fee?
I love sending a couple of sneak peeks within 48 hours of your session! Your full gallery is delivered within 3-4 weeks.
