When Sheryl and Albert reached out to us about capturing their wedding day, we were SO excited! After knowing these two through mutual church friends, it felt amazing to be asked to document such an important time in their lives. Their Love Story
Albert is a dentist, and Sheryl is a dental hygienist, but they actually didn’t meet through work! They met when Albert began attending ICC. Sheryl told me that she had an interest in Albert from the start and asked God about a relationship with him. But, God said to be patient. However, one of Sheryl’s girlfriends had other plans.. and intervened. And the result? A SUPER bad first date! After more time had passed, Sheryl and Albert tried again and the timing was perfect! Now, they’re planning their wedding!!!
Snowy Engagement Session in Bluemont VA
Since Sheryl and Albert love the outdoors and hiking so much, I was thrilled that they were into the idea of Bear’s Den Overlook for their portraits. With the chilly weather, we actually lucked out and had the overlook all to ourselves. The white snow on the ground created a romantic atmosphere for these two as they snuggled and celebrated their upcoming wedding day!
