Jez and Marcus had a beautiful engagement session at the Goodstone Inn in Middleburg VA to celebrate this special time in their lives. Unfortunately, COVID has forced them to postpone their wedding plans, but they’re making the best of it. Having a romantic engagement session in a truly picturesque spot doesn’t hurt!
Goodstone Inn Engagement Session
Jez and Marcus met through a mutual friend in college who got them connected at a hangout. They’re still not sure if it was on purpose or accident but it turned out to be a perfectly made match! While they love being home bodies together, they enjoy the chance to travel (obviously not right now…) and they actually got engaged abroad. While on their first international trip together, Marcus proposed to Jez in Italy! I loved hearing all about their relationship during our engagement session.
When they arrived, they told me they were feeling a bit nervous and were worried about being awkward. I encouraged them to just relax and take the chance to have some fun. I even gave them some fun games to laugh and have fun together. Capturing my couples as their natural selves during their engagement session is most important to me, so I wanted to be sure they had a chance to relax. And they did! I am still obsessed with all of the images from around the Goodstone Inn of Jez and Marcus!
