About 6 years ago, Erin and Stefan met during a meeting for Filipinos Coming Together (FACT) at VCU. Now, they live and work in Richmond and they’re waiting anxiously for their wedding day to happen. To celebrate their engagement, we met in DC for a stunning modern art museum engagement session. These two brought their family along, which made everything even more fun!
Art Museum Engagement Session
Erin and Stefan are such a wonderful couple. They love to find new recipes to cook together and enjoy time watching Netflix movies together. When they aren’t working, they spend time with their dog Dhika – and they just have a great time wherever they are! I asked Erin and Stefan what they loved the most about each other, it was so sweet to read their answers. Stefan can’t wait to call Erin his wife and Erin is SO grateful that their relationship has grown with them over the years.
When we met at the art museum in DC, we were a bit bummed to see it was so busy! However, there were some amazing exhibits and hidden corners throughout the museum that were perfect for their portraits. Looking at them, you’d never know we weren’t alone!! It was a fun artistic challenge for me and I truly love how this modern session came out.
Unfortunately, due to COVID, their wedding is on hold. While I know how disappointing it is, I’m so thankful that they have each other to go through this time together. I am excited for them to find what might work for them – whether it’s an intimate ceremony or something larger later on.
