Lauren and Dan are married, despite it all! COVID has wrecked so many wedding plans this year, but my couples have been amazingly resilient. Lauren and Dan were no different. They originally planned to get married at Goodstone Inn this May but with COVID going on, they decided to have an intimate ceremony to make things official sooner. Their intimate wedding at home was just beautiful and I’m honored I was able to capture it.
Intimate Wedding at Home
Their intimate wedding at home took place at Lauren’s parents’ backyard and it was just lovely. This backyard is to DIE for! Lauren and Dan kept their attire casual, but were just glowing either way. Their two pups were in attendance and we made sure to include them in their portraits! After their garden ceremony, they had a small intimate reception with the sweetest details.
Although it may not have been the day they originally envisioned, it turned out beautifully! Both sides of the family were overjoyed to watch the newlyweds tie the knot and the emotions didn’t stop with them (not saying I did cry… but, it’s possible!). Although their wedding was family only, there was SO much love in that backyard.
I just love Lauren and Dan. They’re meant to be – for sure. Watching them on their wedding day was such an honor because love like their’s is rare. Dan’s love for Lauren was just SO apparent. You could see the love written all over his face. And Lauren looked absolutely radiant all day. It was truly a special day and I’m so happy I could be a part of it all!
