Happy new year! I’m excited to kick off my 2021 blogs by sharing Lizzi and Kevin’s classic Georgetown DC engagement session. These two are some of the kindest and sweetest people I’ve had the pleasure of knowing and working with. Thanks to COVID, they had to postpone their 2020 wedding to this summer, and I for one, cannot wait to celebrate with them!

Classic Georgetown DC Engagement Session

Lizzi and Kevin met as freshman Penn State in 2009! After being friends for two years, they officially began to date their junior year. They started together through graduation and when Lizzi moved down to DC after graduation, Kevin did everything he could to follow. A few months later, he moved to DC, too! They were engaged after 7 years of dating while building their lives in DC – and are glad to be finally be calling the area home. Their summer wedding will be local, here at the Capital Hilton. As newlyweds, they’ll get to enjoy the city they’ve called home and explored together for the last few years.

Lizzi and Kevin have such a natural energy with each other. Watching them dance along the canal and snuggle up along the historic buildings of Georgetown was so much fun. They’re just a joy to be around and I seriously enjoyed EVERY moment of their portraits here in DC. I love photographing my couples in Georgetown – there’s always something new, and I’m so happy you get to enjoy this session today, too!

Congratulations again Lizzi and Kevin… just a few more months until you’re husband and wife!

My art is all about the juxtaposition of modern editorial with unpolished, unexpected visuals. I’m inspired by hands-on, analog formats, details, and the world around us.

Life is simply a series of moments. It’s my honor to pay attention and use film to capture them.
